The GivingBack Business Alliance is a pilot program engaged in helping businesses become empowered and effective in the efforts of giving back to the community. Through the leadership of MichaelsNOC, we seek to leverage the talents and contributions of local businesses to make more of an impact than by single efforts alone.
The societal impact of GivingBack by local companies and its employees
will be much more defined and measurable. We feel this approach will
increase interest and participation in both contributions of dollars
and, as equally important, in time spent in volunteer activities. It
will generate more inspiration and fulfillment to everyone involved.
This program gives businesses greater visibility in their
communities, as well as the opportunity to be recognized and rewarded
for being outstanding corporate citizens. For employees, it instills
pride in the company, enhances communication among co-workers, and
contributes to teamwork and skill building.
